The New England Council on Crime and Delinquency would like to congratulate the following recipients of the 2008 Bruce Campbell Scholarship:
Stephanie Anderson (CT) – Stephanie is a freshman at the University of Rhode Island, majoring in Environmental Science. After graduation, she hopes to attend their Oceanographic Graduate School. Stephanie has been active in field hockey, track & field, tennis, Art Honor Society, the newspaper and volunteers for Girl Scouts and her church.
David DelFino (RI) – David is entering his freshman year at the Community College of Rhode Island, pursuing a degree in physical education. David has been a camp counselor for the past two summers and has been involved in Student Council, a leadership club, soccer, basketball, baseball and volleyball.
Richard DelFino, III (RI) – Richard is entering his senior year at Providence College majoring in history with a minor in Political Science and is pursuing a law degree. Richard has been a part of the Ambassador Club, National and RI Honor Societies, Foreign Language Honor Society and baseball.
Andrew Lattarulo (MA) – Andrew is a freshman at the University of Rhode Island, majoring in International Business. Andrew is fluent in English, Spanish and French and is active in the Peruvian American Community, his church, a local nursing home community services, and has been a COPEA volunteer ESL teacher.
Michaela Morgan (RI) – Michaela is a sophomore at Keene State, majoring in Communications with minor in Sociology. In high school, Michaela was active in Student Government, cross country and track. She is currently participating in a Living and Learning Community Program at Keene State.
Stephen Wallace (MA) – Stephen is a sophomore at Nichols College, working towards his bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice Management. He hopes to pursue a Masters Degree and work for the FBI. During high school, Stephen was active in volunteer work, varsity sports including soccer, track and basketball and was part of the National Honor Society.
Brittany Worcester (ME) – Brittany is entering her freshman year at Saint Joseph’s College, majoring in Biology with a concentration in the Pre-Physician’s Assistant Program. Throughout high school, Brittany was involved in band, chorus and drama and has volunteered coaching many youth sports programs, including t-ball, softball, soccer and basketball.
